Mental Health Co-ordinator

The Position: Mental Health Co-ordinator

Hours: Part-time (20hrs/wk)

Location: Rising Above, Grande Prairie (11007 106 street)

The Vision: Break cycles of defeat through H.E.L.P.S. - Housing, Employment Training, Life Skills, Personal Development, and Spiritual Formation.

Job Description

• Assisting Rising Above clients to identify and properly manage their mental health.
• To help triage mental health issues that may arise.
• To link clients to needed services that support both their recovery and their mental health.
• To increase the capacity of Rising Above as an agency and a staff to effectively manage clients with concurrent Mental Health conditions.
• Have an understanding of and appreciation for our Inner Healing model.

Experience/Credentials:

We are looking for someone who is registered in their respective field, has at least 5 years experience, and has a minimum of a bachelor's degree (social work or psychology) or psych nursing designation. 

• Strong Christian character.
• A Passion for helping those trapped in addictions.
