Hope Still Lives. For a lot of people, this can be a hard concept to grasp. If we are watching the happenings in our own community and around the world, there seems to be a shortage of hope everywhere we look. We see it in the faces of addicts on the street, war-torn countries across oceans, suffering economies and housing shortages.
We are living in a world staring at the water when Jesus is asking us to look at Him. It can be very difficult to not stare into the waves swirling around our feet and threatening to take us under. It's a choice to look at Jesus. It's a choice to believe there is hope regardless of seemingly hopeless situations. We believe hope still lives and Jesus is asking us to simply keep our eyes on Him.
When we choose to look at Jesus in the face of overwhelming circumstances, we experience hope. Rising Above has chosen to keep our focus on Jesus throughout the years, and the miracles we witness are endless. We want to share the stories of these miracles with you!
Join us for our Hope Lives Banquet on Saturday, March 26th, 2022, at the TARA Centre at Evergreen Park and listen to stories from those who have taken the hand of Jesus and climbed out of the pit of addiction and other cycles of defeat.
