Direct Participant Involvement
One-on-One mentoring - spending time building relationships with a participant in the program. Our participants need to learn how to develop health relationships and make positive life style choices. The mentoring relationship provides an opportunity to build into the life of a program participant while they are in the program and may also continue after they graduate and move on. Activities could be based on shared hobbies or interests, sharing a meal or working together on a project.
- Taxes/legal Services - volunteers with expertise in these areas can offer services to program participants as part of the process of getting their lives back on track.
- Haircuts - the services of a trained hairstylist or barber would be very much appreciated
- Dental Services - offering dental services as needed to program participants
